2012 Holiday Schedule for Time-of-Use Prices (read more)
During the month of October, Espanola Regional Hydro Distribution Corporation will start billing residential electricity customers using Time of Use rates.
In advance of this, Espanola Regional Hydro Distribution Corporation will be sending out letters advising residential customers of the effective meter reading date that electricity consumption will be billed on using Time of Use pricing.
All electricity consumption used from this date forward will be based on Time of Use rates.
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) sets electricity prices and Time of Use periods for the province which may change every six months, typically November 1st and May 1st of each year. For current pricing visit the OEB at www.ontarioenergyboard.ca
If you signed a contract with an electricity retailer, you will continue to pay the agreed-upon contract price.
