Customers are eligible to join either of the above two plans if they meet the following eligibility requirements: a) your account is paid in full and b) no more than two NSF cheques are recorded on your account in the previous six months.
Pre-Authorized Payment Plan Our Pre-Authorized Payment Plan eliminates cheque writing, buying postage and/or attending a Financial Institution to pay your bill.
- Residential & Commercial Actual Customers:
The total amount of the utility bill will be withdrawn from your bank account on the due date of the bill.
- Residential Equal Payment Plan Customers:
The equal payment amount will be withdrawn from your bank account on your choice of one of the following dates: 1st, 10th, 15th, 20th or the due date of the bill. Whichever date you select will remain in effect for the entire eleven months.
If a payment is returned by our Financial Institution, your account will automatically be removed from the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan and the outstanding balance will be due and payable immediately.
Equal Payment - Budget Plan This plan will simplify your life! You'll know the exact amount of your monthly payment for eleven months...
You have the choice of five withdrawal dates: 1st, 10th, 15th, 20th or the due date of the bill. Choose the one that is best for you.
Once your choice has been made, eleven equal payments are automatically withdrawn from your chequing account on the chosen date (or within seven days of that date). Equal payments are made October through August inclusive. September is reconcile month when credits on your account will be refunded and/or balances outstanding will be automatically withdrawn on the payment date of the September bill.
The equal payment amount is based on the previous twelve months history for the residence in question.
We will continue to provide you with a monthly bill showing the status of your account regardless of which of the above two options you select.
Espanola Regional Hydro Distribution Corporation reserves the right to remove your account from either of these two options if a payment is returned by the bank. Should that happen all monies owing on the account must be paid in full.
Call 869-2771 today to join either of these two plans. You will be required to complete an application form and provide us with a void cheque.
